7th and 8th Grade Opportunities

With high school right around the corner, 8th graders are invited to experience a day in the life of a current Gonzaga Prep student. We carefully match each student with a Bullpup who shares similar interests. 8th graders accompany students to 6 classes and lunch (provided by Gonzaga Prep at no additional cost). We encourage all kids considering Gonzaga Prep for high school to be on campus, interact with our outstanding faculty, and be welcomed by our Bullpup community.

FAQ's:

What time should I arrive and where do I go?
Gonzaga Prep is located at 1224 E. Euclid Ave. in Spokane; however, our main entrance is off the N. Perry St. parking lot on the east side of campus. If needed, you may park in a visitor parking space in front of the main school building. Parents should drop students off by 7:45 am. Please look for the welcome sign outside the doors to the Counseling Center (to the left/east of the main entrance). If using the main entrance, please check in with Security. Students will start the day in our Admissions Office, Room 6.

What time and where do I pick up my child?
Parents should pick up students at 2 pm in front of the main entrance to the school.

What do I need to bring, and what should I wear?
We suggest bringing a water bottle and light snack. All visitors need to follow the Gonzaga Prep Dress Code. Students will also be asked to put away cell phones for the day. Please review our Cell Phone Policy.

What if my student has dietary restrictions?
Students will get to go through the lunch line and select a complimentary entrée and side dish. While there is a variety of healthy options to choose from, our cafeteria may not be able to accommodate all dietary needs. You may bring your own snack and a sack lunch if you would prefer.

I'm currently a high school student. Can I attend a Shadow Day?
Absolutely! We welcome prospective transfer students to shadow a current Prep student for a full school day. Please contact Admissions to arrange a day that works for you.

Thinking about Gonzaga Prep for high school? Each spring, 7th graders are invited to campus for a Bullpup Preview Day. Get an inside and accurate look at what it's really like to be a Bullpup! Students will spend half a day with us participating in activities designed just for them. The day will include an overview of Gonzaga Prep and student life, sample classes, campus tours led by our Sophomore Ambassadors, complimentary lunch, and more!

What time should I arrive and where do I go?

If needed, you may park in a visitor parking space in front of the main school building. Open sign-up dates include a coffee social at 9:00 am in our main school building. Otherwise, parents should drop students off at the main entrance to the school by 9:25 am. Students will start the day promptly at 9:30 am in the Chapel of the Three Companions, located just to the west of the parking lot. (Look for the big statue!) Our program will conclude by 1:15 pm. Parents should pick students up from the same parking lot as drop-off.

Yes! While we are primarily offering Bullpup Previews for 7th graders, you are welcome to attend in 8th grade if you did not have a chance to attend your 7th grade year.
