The 2024-2025 school year will return to our traditional athletics calendar. 

 

PLEASE NOTE: All teams will meet at the scheduled times listed. Accommodations will be made according to the air quality conditions.

 

FALL SPORTS START DATES:

Aug. 21 - First day of football
» 10th-12th Grades - 9 a.m. - noon (Meet in the Fitness Center)
» 9th Grade - 3-6pm (Meet in the Fitness Center)

Aug. 26 - First day of other fall sports

 
» Cross Country - 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. (Meet on the concrete bleachers) - 
   Contact coach Jenn Decker (girls) or Steven Kutsch (boys)

» Girls Soccer - 9th & 12th grades 8:30-10:30 a.m. (Meet on the concrete bleachers)
   Contact coach Johnny Bartich

» Slowpitch Softball - 3 - 5 p.m. (Meet on the softball field @ 2:45 p.m.)

» Volleyball - 9th grade - 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. (Meet in the gym) • 10th-12th grades - 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. (Meet in the gym)

Physicals: Any student participating in a sport must have a current physical on file.  Please check the expiration date of their last physical on file at the school by checking their student account online in PowerSchool. 


Please take the Gonzaga Prep Physical Form to your visit and return it to the Main Office or email to [email protected].

 

If you need a sports physical, Northwest Sports & Exercise Medicine is offering two physical nights exclusive to Gonzaga Prep students.  They are Monday, August 19, 2024, and Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm (Last name A-M 5:30-6:30 and N-Z 6:30-7:30).  Cost is $30. 

*These are sports physicals only and should not be in place of a well-child check with your regular provider.

ATHLETIC FORMS - FORM INSTRUCTION GUIDE
In addition to a physical exam, the following forms must be completed and on file in the Athletic office. PLEASE NOTE: Forms for the 2024-2025 school year will be available in August through the School Information System - PowerSchool.

  1. Physical Form: A sports physical from a physician is required every two years. This must be filled out by an approved medical professional and a copy is to be kept on file at the school. The Gonzaga Prep downloadable sports physical form can be found at the bottom of this page.
  2. Concussion Management Online Agreement  One form each year to be submitted and digitally signed by student and parent.
  3. Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Agreement  One form each year to be submitted and digitally signed by student and parent.
  4.  Emergency Information Form - Online Submission  One form each year to be submitted and digitally signed by student and parent.
  5.  Athletic Code Online Agreement  One form each year to be submitted digitally signed by student and parent.
Transportation Release Form - Turn into Coach or Moderator
* This form is only necessary if your child is driving themselves, or riding with another student to games or practices.
 
GSL SPORTS PASSES
GSL Sports Passes are available for the 2024-2025 School Year.  Cost is $103
