GROSS FAMILY INCOME:  We consider the following to be included in gross family income:  salaries, investment income, self-employment income, social security or disability, rental income, income or cash distributions from LLC's, S Corporations or partnerships, retirement plan or pension distributions, child support and other income.

Adjustments to gross income may be made for deductions reported on the federal income tax return, such as depreciation expense, capital loss carry forwards, net operating losses, and self-employment taxes.

ADDITIONAL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE:  If your family needs additional financial assistance beyond the Fair Share Tuition support provided in the above tuition guidelines, you may request a review of your Fair Share Tuition.  Our Fair Share Review Committee will evaluate and consider factors such as the number of students in Catholic grade schools, students in college, medical expenses, recent changes in employment or other situations. The Fair Share Review Committee may award a Nazareth Guild tuition assistance grant, a scholarship from the Gonzaga Prep Foundation, or additional Fair Share Support to help meet your financial need.

During your student's registration, you will meet with a Fair Share facilitator from the Treasurer's Office and you can request a review of your Fair Share Tuition at that time.

STUDENTS WHOSE PARENTS ARE NOT MARRIED:  In situations where a student's parents are not married, the Fair Share Tuition will be calculated based on both parents' income, including any step parents.  Parents should each submit an online application for Fair Share Tuition through FACTS.  We can write separate tuition contracts for each parent, if the family desires.

Fair Share Tuition is offered to all students of any religion, race, color and national or ethnic origin.
