hi my name is Morgan Hatcher and and the chair of the counseling department here at Gonzaga Prep and I'm very excited to welcome you to our department so little bit about me I am one of the 11th and 12th grade counselors in my 11th year and I'm also the parents of a freshman which is a fighting is definitely a new lens into the light into life at Gonzaga Prep all of the counselors who work with students across the domains personal social academic and college how are structure does little bit unique in Spokane house we have counselors who work with 9th and 12th grade student and really help them with the transition to high school how to be a good high school student how to become self Advocates how to become self-reliant and introduce them to different career search opportunity is on a college search opportunities 11th and 12th grade they transition to one of the 11th and 12th grade counselors and then our focus is on the college process specifically so course working with students in all the other domains and helping them figure out what their next steps are going to be really look forward to welcoming you to Gonzaga Prep and I hope to see you on campus soon
