my name is Karen McLeod and I'm the Theology chairperson and I've been at Gonzaga Prep for about six years and I just loved my time being here in this community one of the most unique things that Gonzaga Prep can offer your student is our theology curriculum we ask students to have 7 credits of theology The Graduate and the whole purpose and motivation for a theology curriculum is to help students engage in some of the big questions in life why am I here how do I engage in faith what does it mean to believe of course we are put it in our Catholic Jesuit tradition so all of our theology curriculum is deeply rooted in our Catholic identity however we encourage students from all Faith backgrounds to engage in respectful and honest dialogue with each other that's such an essential Gilt to go out into the world and one of the final things that we really hope to accomplish in a student's four years at Gonzaga Prep is that app on graduation they have a solid moral compass but they can use when they go out into the world when they enter the college experience we want them to have an ethical framework that they can reference so they're prepared for college and for the future we hope to see you again so I can present
