Sophomore Solvere and Montserrat Retreats

Solvere Retreat for Sophomore Girls & Montserrat Sophomore Boys Retreat
Monday, April 23rd, 2018* (Please note the date change)

In their sophomore year, female and male students attend separate, single day retreats on Monday, April 23rd, 2018.

Solvere Sophomore Girls Retreat:

The Solvere retreat is focused on “untying” the restrictions that keep us from realizing ourselves as creatures of God. Seniors  lead their Sophomore classmates through low ropes course challenges, (weather permitting) small group activities and large group prayer and reflection. Lunch and a snack are provided on the retreat. You can donate food for the retreat here. Wear comfortable, warm clothing and sturdy shoes. We will be outside.

Please find the Permission slips for the Solvere (Girls) Retreat on the sidebar. Both the RP Challenge Course waiver and the Gonzaga Prep permission slip are required for attendance on the Solvere retreat. Slips are due to the Campus Ministry Office by Friday, April 13th.

Montserrat Sophomore Boys Retreat

The Montserrat retreat follows Ignatius' experience of laying down his weapons of self-defense in order to wear the armor of God. Seniors lead their Sophomore classmates in small group reflections and activities while chaperones will present large group reflection topics on living in faith as a male student at Prep as well as in the world.

Volunteer contributions are the basis of the meals and snacks for the Sophomore Boys retreat. You can sign up to contribute here.

Please find the Permission slips for the Montserrat (Boys) Retreat on the sidebar. There is only one permission slip required for this retreat. Slips are due to the Campus Ministry Office by Friday, April 13th
