Spokane Plunge: Imagining a Zero Waste Future.

June 26-28, 2018

Organized by Tyler Hobbs, Christian Service Director

Spokane Plunge exposed students to issues in our community around water, food and being better stewards of our planet.  Students had the opportunity to learn while:
Visiting the Water Resource Center
Helping to clean the banks of the
Spokane River with River keepers
Working at Catholic Charities Food
For All Farm
Looking at sustainability at Gonzaga Univeristy
Working at the
Northwest FoodBank
Visiting the Main Street Market
Serving at the House of
Charity

Students also spent time reflecting on ways to be better stewards of the environment personally, in their families, at Gonzaga Prep, in our city and country.
