At the Holy Saturday Easter Vigil Mass on March 26 at St. Aloysius church four Gonzaga Prep students entered into the Catholic Church. The four students who completed the Rite of Christian Initiation process were senior, Anastasia Wenglewski, and juniors, James Karel, Zoe Boleneus and Olivia Saenz.
Fr. Peter Byrne, associate pastor at St. Aloysius church and superior of the Gonzaga Prep Manresa community, took great pleasure immersing the students in the baptismal font. Olivia Saenz shared her moving experience with an appreciative crowd at the President’s Appreciation Dinner on April 20.
