Students earn recognition in National Latin Exam

Congratulations to the following Gonzaga Prep students who earned recognition for their high scores on the National Latin Exam. This year, senior Mary Cornwell earned her fourth consecutive gold medal. This is rare and highly commendable. She and Luigi Turner, having earned gold medals on higher-level exams, are qualified to apply for the NLE scholarship. The NLE is a competitive exam (not proficiency-based or achievement). Student awards are determined by rankings with peers, and Latin peers across the nation make the competition fierce.
