Alix Lee

Director of Admissions
Time at Prep: New this fall

Mrs. Lee is most likely the first adult Bullups see on the way into the main school building every day. She’s there at the door greeting every student. “I hope to know every student by name and see them choose to make high school an excellent experience by growing spiritually and academically, and by getting involved in student life at Gonzaga Prep,” she says.

She comes to Prep after having served as Executive Director of Nazareth Guild, and before that, as a teacher in both public and Catholic Schools. Her perspective in her role as the new Admissions Director is a belief, not just a sound bite. “Everyone here comes from a family that is choosing to invest in their child— that's an impressive value that bonds our community.”

She’s everywhere in the community, from coordinating Catholic Grade School visits to welcoming 8th graders to campus for Bullpup Previews. When she’s not at Prep, you’ll find her out enjoying the sunshine, puzzling, spending time with family, and traveling!

FAST FACTS
Favorite job perk: Wearing Navy Blue (it's one of my favorite colors), seeing kids I taught at Cataldo, and holding the door open in the morning to greet kids!
When she grew up, she wanted to be: A teacher!
Favorite food: Anything my husband cooks, he does all the cooking!
Anything else? I have a power cord with pompoms and twinkle lights to charge phones in my office. It’s strategic so no one steals it … especially my two boys (Dylan `24 and Wyatt `25)
