The President of Gonzaga Preparatory School serves as the Chief Executive Officer, visionary leader, and public representative of the school. Rooted in the Jesuit tradition, the President advances the mission by providing strategic leadership, ensuring long-term sustainability, and strengthening the school’s Catholic and Jesuit identity.
The President is accountable to the Board of Directors for the overall operation, mission fulfillment, and future vitality of the institution. As the chief executive, the President serves as a visible role model for faculty, staff, and students, integrating faith and learning into the life, culture, and direction of the school.
In partnership with the Principal, the President ensures academic excellence and a transformative educational experience, while providing strategic oversight of operations, institutional advancement, community engagement, and financial stewardship.

Requirements
A practicing Catholic committed to the teachings of the Church and the mission of Catholic, Jesuit education
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
10 years senior leadership experience in education, nonprofit, or a similarly complex organization
Demonstrated experience in organizational leadership, including supervision and development of senior staff
Proven ability to manage or oversee budgets, financial planning, and institutional resources
Demonstrated experience in fundraising, advancement, or external relationship management
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders, including board members, faculty, staff, students, families, and community partners
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
