Growing up without parents  forced me to grow quickly and to find out who I really was.  I had to depend on myself for everything and that was hard. I made that choice to myself I would never quit.  I knew I would be successful but I just needed a break. Gonzaga Prep really gave me that break. Being the oldest means you see the sacrifices made by your family. It helps me to think about others first. I think what I needed the most was the opportunity to learn from great leaders.  I got that opportunity here at Gonzaga Prep.  Growing up in the Catholic faith was always part of my family. Going to mass and saying grace just normal and daily part of my life but as I got older I realized a part of my family and part of my everyday life and I realized that I didn't know God personally or I guess on a personal level. So, I've been able to deepen my relationship with God at Gonzaga Prep being at prep just taught me a lot about family how to be part of a family prep makes me feel at the end of the day that I need it I need to help at least one person a day and I feel like giving back is very important to me and I prep has taught me a lot to give back and be a person for others my experiences at prep have taught me that to be a great leader you need a great Community around you when my dad had a heart attack I really felt the community of God through my teachers my classmates going to college means everything for myself and my family and to be prepared and such an encouraging environment is more than I could ever ask for in an education I'm grateful and thankful for this education and we'll always be a person for others Gonzaga Prep Community has embraced me I couldn't be here without help I couldn't be here without help I am the 6 and 10 I am the 6 and 10
