The Holy Spirit is unpredictable, explosive, and spectacular. It fills every molecule surrounding us, and reminds us there is something going on much larger than ourselves, Fr. JK Adams SJ told the Gonzaga Prep community gathered for the traditional all-school Mass of the Holy Spirit on Thursday.
During the Mass in which we bless the school and the year ahead, members of the McKenna family lit a newly instituted “alumni candle” honoring all who have passed through the halls of Prep before us.
Concelebrating Mass along with Fr. Adams and two Jesuits from the Della Strada was newly ordained Franciscan priest, Friar Thomas Fetz, a 2007 Gonzaga Prep graduate. Friar Fetz spoke to the community offering words of gratitude for teachers and inspiration to students.
