Students fill chapel for Sacred Hour

“Open the door with love no matter who is there,” Fr. JK Adams S.J. challenged students to remember as we begin this new school year. It was uplifting to witness Gonzaga Prep students, faculty, and staff gather at the heart of our campus—The Chapel of the Three Companions—for the first Sacred Hour Mass of the fall last week.
During Sacred Hour, the Gonzaga Prep family gathers to celebrate our deepest identity as a Catholic, Jesuit, and college preparatory school. As Fr. Adams describes it, "this weekly student Mass is the defining moment of our school. It cannot be itself without it. This is the very soul of Gonzaga Prep and is the purpose and apex of our 'Sacred Hour'. This gathering of the Prep family around the table of the Lord is, in fact, the very place where Gonzaga Prep’s heart beats!"
