TEFI MA'AKE serves as Gonzaga Prep's Director of Equity and Inclusion. She holds master's degrees in both Secondary Education and in Multicultural Theology and Religious Education. She draws from a wealth of experience in Catholic secondary education. Before moving to the Pacific Northwest in 2019, she was Director of Campus Ministry and Assistant Head of School for Mission at Notre Dame Academy in Los Angeles and Resident Minister at Loyola Marymount University.
In her two years at Prep, she has taught in the theology department and as part of the campus ministry team, facilitated numerous retreats.

I am so excited to embark on a new journey as the DEI and celebrate Prep's efforts to live out what our faith asks of us—to create an even more loving and inclusive community, so that all students feel at home here!”
