do open by talk about the American dream American dream is class Mobility your born for you work hard to get rich 12 claps the Next Generation would be justified in looking back at us and asking what were you thinking what Mother Nature was screaming at you because the concentration of wealth is to yield concentration of power how do I make it extremely adjusting itself in the three that are ancestors chose highly negative consequences on the side is old murdering each other at epidemic is noticing one of the four human beings with Hands-On bars Shackle in the world are locked up here no answer the problem seems to be getting worse and worse and worse would be great but I want to ask if the mayor of New Orleans write the representative of this city to the world I'm learning about topics like social identity mass incarceration and the current climate crisis ultimately are them for what they are about to see and remember folks who are doing the work folks who are experiencing these and justices and really authentic meaningful ways and we try to understand them too makes sense of people's experiences and what does it mean for us to walk with them margins in one word it would be humbling it would be revealing beautiful something that can't be learned in the classroom life-altering once in a lifetime kind of opportunity jean-francois is a sophomore who is ready to listen you always hear about the negative sides but you never really hear directly from other people about what their situation was like you don't really know what caused it to get into that situation helps you think before you do something people often have this idea of what can I do I'm just one person 4 from emergency room in particular for Jean prep would think it'll work as high schoolers what exactly can we do so what I noticed was everyone can provide a shoulder to lean on everyone empathy everyone can try to understand what you are going through and sometimes that little action can provide the most help the world experiencing homelessness in Spokane by I want to be more active in next year's food drive because I think it's one of the main things of crap that really makes a difference in our community and want to provide them with is there an axe on hip hop so we're going to volunteer for buses under the bridge because we think it's important for us to use our pillage help those with less we want to start volunteering at a soup kitchen because in New Orleans we serve lunch at home is very fulfilling to help volunteer down there and if I just realize how much you want to give back to the community I want to start a garden at home Rolling Hills Local environmental organization tonight Infinite Campus at Gonzaga Prep and oxygen equipment in my own personal life kids program packages to give to people experiencing homelessness to improve their life I'm going to build a community garden to give food to local food banks in the Spokane area to create a an alternative parole program I want to get involved with the House of Charity Martinsburg my interest in service to the homeless because of my trip to New Orleans restaurant if your mobile service work in my own backyard experiences in New Orleans I want to bring the doll which back to shine out where I can share with everybody so I want those relationships with the incarcerated in college there are therapy and why does it rain so I can work a smok the image of the cartoons as human beings Oregon on the margins program I saw the and learned about the homeless problems in LA and in Spokane and I want to petition Spokane to text anyway to you
