Let us pray

Lord, hear our prayer

During this time of transition and uncertainty, we can join together in prayer.Click to submit your prayer request.  Our prayers will be laid at the altar of the Della Strada Residence Chapel on Gonzaga University's campus. The prayers will be included during the residences' regular Mass.

Prayers from our community

Looking for a prayer? Here are some that our community members would like to share to keep us close in this time of distance. Members of our faculty and staff share the prayers that have special meaning to them as well as the context in which they have prayed them. If you also have a prayer to share with our community, please do so here and they will be posted for all Bullpups, near and far, to pray together.
Prayers shared with you from the Prep Community:

My best prayer is in the morning when I am struggling to open my eyes, I look across the room at the foot of bed and see Jesus' arms stretched out on the cross and I remember to say, "Thank you".--An anonymous member of the community

Mrs. Ma'ake, Campus Ministry and the Theology department, would like to share an Examen: Ask for Grace
Mrs. Pinnock, Prep's Communications/Social Media Coordinator, starts each day by praying:
“Use me, God. Show me how to take who I am, who I want to be, and what I can do, and use it for a purpose greater than myself.”
                                                                                                                                                             -- Martin Luther King, Jr.
Ms. Haun-McEwen, Dean of Students
As a young child, I would often stay with my grandparents on their
farm.  Every morning before my Grandpa would go out to the fields, I
would see him drop to his knees by the side of his bed and pray.  My
big Irish grandfather, in his work clothes, praying at sunrise to
start his day is one of my favorite images.   “May God bless you and
keep you and may God hold you in the palm of His hand.”   This is a
prayer I often pray for others when I know they are struggling or I
know our paths are not going to cross for awhile.

Mrs. Mudd, Campus Ministry and Theology department, starts the day focusing on joy, "This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it."
