hello my name is Patrick Bulger and I am the fine arts department chair at Gonzaga Prep I've been teaching at prep for 16 years and then the fine arts department chair for six the Fine Arts is truly a magical part of the Gonzaga Prep experience the Visual and Performing Arts are considered essential components of the education of students at Gonzaga preparatory school and the 60 fulfillment of admission we strive to prepare our students to be creative and critical thinkers artist participant and patrons in the Arts through direct involvement in music debate theater visual art we work to create an interdisciplinary Intercultural and creative Community each student is introduced to the Fine Arts in their freshman year with a full year opportunity to explore the creative Outlet up their choice displays concerts competitions and performances are just a few of the ways fine art students are able to express their work learned in the classroom the Jesuits place a strong emphasis on the cree performing arts and here at Gonzaga Prep students are encouraged to express themselves creatively in a multitude of ways Gonzaga Prep we encourage students to find their place with a fine art I'd say you need an opportunity for you to do just that hope to see you soon
