Board Certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist
Careage Home Health
In 2010 I received my doctorate in Physical Therapy from UW and have been working as a Home Health Physical Therapist, and this year (right before the pandemic hit) I passed the board exam to become a Geriatric Clinical Specialist.
I have 4 grown daughters, scattered around the world. My oldest, Izze (can’t believe she’s 35!) is a French teacher in Bellingham (Père Goldian would be proud!) with twin sons, starting 1st grade this year. Rose, age 31, is getting married over Labor Day weekend in a very tiny, family only, socially distanced wedding (which was not the original plan, sigh). She works as the communications director for Snohomish County Parks Dept. Erin, 29, is married and living in LA, working (during normal times) as a video editor and competing in improv. And my baby, Emma, is now 26 and lives in Rome, working at an American School.
I’ve been staying sane this year by playing lots of tennis, and trying to keep myself healthy so I can continue to care for my geriatric patients safely. I hope the rest of the class of ‘80 is staying healthy. I would love to hear some updates from everyone! I hope we can do something to celebrate our 40th this year.
