Fundamental Skills - This camp is designed to provide basic skills for students to succeed in Algebra I at Gonzaga Prep. Students will build on math skills and strategies for learning math. Concepts include prime factors, number sets, order of operations, fractions, graphing, and mathematical strategies for learning math. Concepts such as prime factor, number sets, functions, fractions, graphing, and mathematical vocabulary are taught rigorously to model the expectations of a high school-level Algebra I course.
Advanced Math Camp - This camp is designed to review the Algebra I curriculum, such as solving equations, simplifying radical and rational expressions, systems of equations, graphing, and quadratic functions. These topics are taught rigorously to model a mathematics course during the regular academic year.
