This newly created position reports to the Vice President of Advancement and is responsible for the promotion of Gonzaga Preparatory School and furthering of its mission. This position will collaborate with the Marketing and Communications Manager in the creation and coordination of written and promotional content for print publications, website and social media platforms.

This is a full time position (12 month schedule). Additional hours on evenings and weekends may be required, based on school activities and events.

• B.A. in Marketing, PR or related field and/or work experience in a marketing/PR position
• Working knowledge of and experience in digital communication and social media
• Experience with copywriting/content creation for web/print articles, social media, and web promotions
• Proficiency in Google drive and Google applications
• Knowledge of Facebook Insights and Google Analytics
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
• Excellent written/verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Outstanding organization skills and ability to multi-task successfully under pressure
• Exceptional time-management and ability to meet deadlines working independently or on a team
• Understanding of Jesuit mission, philosophy, and pedagogy
• Reference check and criminal background check required
