Description
Gonzaga Prep has an opening for a Fair Share Tuition Manager in the Treasurer’s Office. The Fair Share Tuition Manager is responsible for the administration of Fair Share Tuition program, including meeting with families, verifying and calculating tuition commitments, and completing tuition contracts; tuition/fees invoicing and payment processing; monitoring and following up on past due accounts; and maintaining reports related to tuition revenue and receivables. This position is instrumental in delivering services to families in support of the School’s efforts to be affordable and accessible to families seeking enrollment at Gonzaga Prep. The Fair Share Tuition Manager will work closely with Admissions and the Registrar in supporting the enrollment process. This position reports to the Vice President – Finance.
Benefits
This position is 0.8 FTE and works on a 12 month schedule. This position qualifies for benefits.

Start date: April 26, 2021.
Requirements
We are looking for applicants with the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required.

2. Ability to understand federal tax returns and financial information and apply judgment in making recommendations for Fair Share tuition awards.

3. Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to compose business correspondence with professionalism in format and content. Ability to create clear communications, forms, promotional materials in print and on website, in coordination with marketing and admissions departments.

4. Exceptional interpersonal skills to work with many different constituents (parents, students, faculty/staff, administration). Confidentiality, compassion, respect in difficult or sensitive conversations is essential.

5. Proficiency with office software/technology, including financial programs and school information systems/tuition management systems. Ability to utilize software to create efficient processes and communications (mail merge, email merges, Excel data base functions). Ability to create and document procedures to create consistent and reliable processes and cross training.

6. Efficiency and ability to meet deadlines. Overtime or flexible schedules may be necessary at times to participate in School events and/or meet deadlines.

7. Ability to work as part of team and provide service to faculty, staff, students, and parents in a friendly, cooperative manner.

8. Understanding and support of Gonzaga Prep’s mission statement and demonstrated commitment to serving families with compassion and integrity.
