 Prep mourns the passing of beloved staff memberWith deep sadness the Gonzaga Prep community mourns the passing of Ms. Donna Lenseigne. Donna has been Prep’s Registrar, a member of our Admissions team, and our Varsity Girls Tennis coach for many years. For many past and present Prep families, Donna was the first Prep staff member they met and she shared her love for Prep with all of them. Donna was one of the main driving forces behind the creation our new tennis courts and has been the most successful tennis coach in the Spokane area for many years. Over 80 girls turned out for tennis each year because of Donna’s passion, care, and love of her players. Her expertise and passion in all these areas will be greatly missed. Donna is survived by her husband Dale (Prep’s Plant Manager) and their three children Kevin`00, Renee`04, and Jake`07. Please keep them in your prayers.
A vigil for Donna will be celebrated in the Chapel of the Three Companions at Gonzaga Prep at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 30. The memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 31 at 2 p.m. at St. Thomas More Church.
