Our 28th Annual Labor Day workout will be on Monday September 6th at Manito Park at 9:00 AM. We will meet near the parking lot by the sledding hill.

Alum Corrina O'Brien placed in the top 25 overall for women in Bloomsday 2010.

Looking forward to the 2010 season.  We currently have 7 alumni competing for NCAA Division 1, 2 or NAIA teams.  Corrina O'Brien (Gonzaga University) and Theresa Hailey
(University of Portland)  were WCC all conference for academics this year.  Nice job ladies!

First day of Practice is Monday August 23rd 2010.  There will be an optional 7:00 am practice and then regular practice at 3:00 pm.  Meet behind the school at the track for both practices.  We will practice at 3:00 everyday.  Cross Country is a no cut sport so there are no official tryouts. Contact Boys Coach Joe Feryn (981-4767) jferyn@gprep.com or Girls Coach Stephen Manfred (953-7522)  smanfred@gprep.com if you need info.















Girls: Head Coach-Stephen Manfred, 3rd Year as head coach at Gonzaga Prep.
Stephen also coaches the boys Track and Field team and has experience at Blanchet High school and Rogers high school
Asst. Coach-Jean Smith, 18th year in the program.
















Boys:Head Coach-Joe Feryn, 6th season as the head coach and 17th season involved with the Bullpups.
Asst. Coach-Ron Edwards, 19th season involved in the program, 1960's Gonzaga Prep alum.
Asst. Coach-Jim Rucker, 2nd season as a coach.  1998 Gonzaga Prep alum.  Helped lead the 1997 squad to 3rd place at the state championships and a number ten ranking on the west coast.

Information- We compete in one of the top high school cross country leagues in the nation.  In the past twenty years the Greater Spokane League has consistantly had a team ranked in the top ten in the nation.  In 2008 the national champion came out of our league as well as 4 teams ranked in the top ten of the 4A coaches poll.  We focus on creating men with integrity.  Cross country allows all participants to challenge themselves mentally, physically and spiritually.  For more information please contact coach Feryn at jferyn@gprep.com.
