He has a BA in Education from Gonzaga University, an M.Div. from Weston Jesuit School of Thelogy, and an M.Ed. from Lewis & Clark College He has taught religion and drama at Gonzaga Prep and Jesuit High, He has served as Principal and President of, and also founded, St. Andrew Nativity School. endowed at St. Andrew Nativity School. Fr. Stephen Kieta, SJ

Fr. Stephen Kieta, SJ, was born in 1968 in San Francisco. After earning a master’s degree in religious studies from Gonzaga University in 1997, he entered the Society of Jesus and professed his first vows in August 1999. His first studies were at Loyola University in Chicago where he earned master’s degrees in social philosophy and history. He spent regency teaching at Bellarmine Preparatory School in Tacoma and most recently has been studying theology at Heythrop College, University of London. He is a 1990 graduate of Santa Clara University with a bachelor’s degree in history and is a 1986 graduate of O’Dea High School in Seattle. In the fall, he will begin his first assignment as a priest, teaching history and religion at Gonzaga Preparatory School in Spokane. |

Fr. Fitts grew up in Sunnyside, WA, joined the military and went to school on the GI bill before entering the Jesuits. He Studied Philosophy at Mt. St. Michael in Spokane, and Theology at Alma College. In addition to being a pastor, Fr. Fitts has spent many years serving the sick as a hospital chaplain. Fr. Fitts is currently a Sacramental Minister at St. Aloysius Parish and helps out in other parishes in need of Sacrimental Ministries. |

Jesuit scholastics are men who have taken vows in the Society and are preparing for priestly ordination. Scholastics will be do their "Regency" term of work at Gonzaga Prep.

Mr. Mayer was born in Pasco in 1976. He entered the Jesuits in 2001. He Teaches technology and Ceramics as well as working with Prep's Athlethic Program. He has completed a B.A. in Philosophy and Letters at St. Louis University. |

NOVICES
Jesuit novices are men who have not yet taken vows, but are descerning their call to take vows in the Society of Jesus. Two novices will be doing their "Long Experiment" experience of apostolic work at Gonzaga Prep and community life in the Manresa Jesuit Community, beginning January of 2008.
