The community of prep is very accepting you're really supported here  and they're some very nice and genuine people here Prep is kind of unusual because the Freshman the sophmores & the juniors and seniors are all really close. I would say it's more of one community and not little communities combined. In middle school I was that awkward kid. Kind of didn't know my place in the world and when I came to Gonzaga Prep it was that idea that I was accepted here not only by peers but by teachers by upperclassman who we're just so willing to welcome me. It's not like your a freshman so I can't be friends with you. It's like your a freshman, what's your name how's it going today. What I personally believe sets Prep apart is the student teacher relationships. I could be having a rough day and my teachers would notice. At other schools you really don't get that kind of compassion outside of a school classroom. They really care if you succeed. They have a friendly interaction with you to the point where you want to learn and learning and coming to class is fun. The teacher will kind of throw out the lesson. The teachers are very interactive with their class. I think that classes are probably smaller than a lot of schools. I have gotten to have really great relationships with my teachers. I would say our teachers are challenging but not hard. They have a lot of different levels of classes that can help you at the level of learning that you're able to work out and they bring you up to a level that most colleges would be surprised at or would be more than happy to accept I'm going to Santa Clara next year and I don't think that would have been able to do that going to any other High School other than Gonzaga Prep I love extra-curriculars there really is something for everyone here you have a variety of sports but then you have all the clubs here and with the addition of homeroom it allows you to have that time to do the different clubs. Lots of people do tons of different things and it's not just like you're an athlete and so you only do Sports it's like I'm an athlete I do choir I also want to help on the search Retreats and everyone does so many different things that you really busy after school. Every senior is required to take community service but most seniors are doing community service beyond that of just this class. I think a lot of times a lot of students like most go into it thinking about like great I have to do community service, I think when people coming out of it most kids in enjoy their experience and most of the time they get something out of it. You really learn to appreciate helping other people. There's so many Connections in the Prep community and then those connections go out into the entire Spokane community. We're definitely really spiritual and I think it's like a family that prays together loves together it gives us a common bond. I feel like I've gained more information about him and about the religion about other religions so G-Prep is very tolerant of everybody's religion and open. the thing that you're not going to get at any other school is just the level of compassion like if you're looking to have a high school experience where you're not going to be bullied because our teachers and our students won't stand for it. If you're looking for an experience where you're not quite sure what your spirituality is or you're not quite sure where you are in life but you're looking to find that out Prep is it. We want you to be here and we are really excited that you're here. Come on in. Welcome to Gonzaga Prep. here's what our spirit is. Here is where we can find joy. I am Gonzaga Prep. I am.. G-Prep.
