Fair Share Tuition Program

Fair Share Tuition is determined individually for each student, based on several factors including family income, household size, and other family circumstances. Families with students in Catholic grade schools, students in college, medical expenses, or other situations may qualify for additional financial assistance.

Families who send their children to Gonzaga Prep understand they are committing to a philosophy and a financial commitment, which is a sacrifice for all families. All families are asked to prayerfully reflect and pay as much as they can toward the full tuition.

Please refer to our Fair Share Guidelines if you would like a more detailed estimate of your Fair Share tuition. Additional financial assistance is available.

COMMITMENT TO CATHOLIC EDUCATION Gonzaga Prep’s Fair Share process is committed to ensuring the affordability of Catholic education in the region. Families with younger students in Catholic elementary schools may qualify for additional Fair Share assistance than the Fair Share guidelines.

SIBLINGS: Families may qualify for a sibling discount of up to 35%. Sibling discounts are considered Fair Share Tuition support. Families are required to submit an FACTS Grant & Aid application to be considered.

STUDENT FEES Student Fees are not included. See the Fee Schedule for a listing of annual fees.

FAMILY INCOME: We consider the following to be included in gross family income:  salaries, investment income, self-employment income, social security or disability, rental income, income or cash distributions from LLC's, S Corporations or partnerships, retirement plan or pension distributions, child support and other income.

Adjustments to gross income may be made for deductions reported on the federal income tax return, such as depreciation expense, capital loss carryforwards, net operating losses, and self-employment taxes.

ADDITIONAL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: If you review the Fair Share guidelines and need additional financial assistance, you may request a review of your Fair Share application after receiving your initial Fair Share award. Our Fair Share Review Committee will evaluate and consider factors such as the number of students in Catholic grade schools, students in college, medical expenses, recent changes in employment or other situations. The Fair Share Review Committee may award additional Fair Share Support or a scholarship from the Gonzaga Prep Foundation to help meet your financial need. Your student must submit a scholarship application to be considered for a scholarship award.

HOW TO APPLY FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE:
New Students: After you begin the application for admission to Gonzaga Prep, please complete the applications for Facts Grant and Aid (to be completed by a parent/guardian) and scholarships (to be completed by the student) on the Admissions Checklist. While the FACTS Grant and Aid application will allow your family to qualify for our Fair Share Tuition Assistance program, both applications must be completed in order to qualify for scholarships.

Returning Students: Please log into the Admissions Portal. On your student's Enrollment Checklist, you will need to request a Fair Share Review and have your student(s) complete a Scholarship Application.

Fair Share Tuition is offered to all students of any religion, race, color and national or ethnic origin.
