DESTINATION IMAGINATION 1st place - 4 years in a row!

On April 1 the Destination Imagination team WWD won first place and the Renaissance Award at State Competitions in Wenatchee and will be heading to Knoxville, Tennessee for Global Competitions in May.  This is the fourth year in a row Prep DI teams have won State and have competed on the Globals level.

A very hearty congratulations to the ICNH team, a first year team, that won second place at state!  They are Blythe DeWitt, Chase Proctor, Grant Lindquist, Matias Crespo, Kyle Mudge, and AJ Patterson.  Your coaches are so proud of you all.

Destination Imagination (DI) is a non-profit organization that challenges students to solve problems in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) and other subjects in creative and collaborative ways. DI teaches the creative process: from Imagination to Innovation. Challenges incorporate STEM as a pathway for students to be curious, to create, and to think and figure things out as independent problem solvers.

DI Globals include 8,000+ students, 17,000+ attendees, 17 countries, 544 volunteers and limitless creativity in Knoxville, TN at the University of Tennessee: Knoxville. MORE INFO

 

Fundraising is underway to get the team to the Global competition and are asking for your help and support!
The Weapon-Wielding Dragicorns, took first place in regional and state championships this year and are invited to Knoxville, TN to compete at the Global level May 24th to the 27th.
